Abstract

|
PACS are widely used by medical institutions for managing, viewing, and reading medical images. The text-based report system does not support form-based reading of exams such as mammography that require form-based reading. Hence, for such studies, users have to manually create reports or resort to disparate systems. The authors realized a unified report system that allows creating, storing, and viewing of form-based report, by integrating the textand form-based report on the PACS platform. This paper introduces a case in which the formbased PACS reporting system was implemented.
